Viennese Lace Collection – 52 Patterns
This collection features 52 lace patterns, primarily in Guipure and Cluny styles, along with several Torchon and tape lace designs.
The course begins with simple narrow bands, then progresses to wider lace, mats, medallions, and insertions in various shapes, ideal for advanced lace makers.
Each pattern is presented with the original and reconstructed lace, a pricking, a coloured working diagram, and detailed drawings.
The book serves both as a valuable historical document, offering a representative overview of Viennese lace at the start of the 20th century, and as a rich source of inspiration for both beginners and experienced lace makers, especially for learning the international colour-coding system.
