Soie d'Alger is a 7-strand spun silk, which divided easily, with a moderate lustre and a smooth, soft finish. It is made of the best quality spun silk (called strusas) which gives it an unrivalled regularity, lustrous and softness.
Perfect for cross stitch, counted thread work, needlepoint, embroidery, hardanger, lace making, blackwork, ribbon embroidery, stumpwork.
