Barjac Ombrée

Ulrike Voelcker

$ 68.00  CAD

Description:

This book was born thanks to a discovery in the south of France, in Barjac, on an antique flea market, of 3 black laces with motifs in Chantilly lace shaded with a rose background and worked entirely in continuous threads .
In view of the particular technical characteristics, and as nobody had yet seen this style of lace, the author gave it the name of "Barjac Ombrée".
After some technical explanations, very beautiful models reworked and created by Ulrike Voelcker, inspired by architectural decorations, flora (medallions, pouches, etc.) are proposed.
Twenty-seven models each with the box, international coding, diagram if necessary, color photographs.
