Description:

The bobbin lace Neapolitan is technically similar to the well-known Idrija lace.
Here the tape is worked with raw silk not twisted, the ground and braid sometimes is worked with gold thread.
Mena Renzi has reconstructed seven patterns for edgings and doilies based on old patterns.
The booklet contains the pricking and colour photos (sometimes enlarged) of the finished laces.
