Aurifil's Mako Cotton Thread is a 2-ply, long-staple Egyptian Cotton that has been mercerized to strengthen the thread and give it a lustrous sheen.
Mako Cotton thread in 40 weight is slightly thicker than a standard thread making it ideal for top-stitching, free motion quilting, embroidery, lacework, and much more.
